dc.description.abstract The research focus on the importance of the glaze glass and tiles in the modern Egyptian architecture. It discuss the technological factors that effecting the realization of a touchable development in the glass artistic works are fitting with the originality and contemporary and with the technology of the glass tiles, the dovetailed, relief and painted panel glass. Also this assures that, glass is one of the benefitial and aesthetical industries that is so necessary in the modern time, according to its multi colors and transparency, the darkness, its resistance to weather and the advanced smart features that made it greatly attaching the international architecture till become similar and close in designing. The advanced technology in the glass, architectural structures and building materials obligate the architect to use them in his work. Glass and architecture designer in the countries with variable climates like Egypt, where high temperature at the day and cold at night, and sometimes wind and dust, this made the design and imitating such architecture very heavy task should be treated till fits with such climate and till have historical impact like the great grandparents in the sequenced Egyptian, Islamic and Khidu civilizations. We could carry out the technology of the glaze artistic tiles and produce them with local materials and specifications fit with the Egyptian environment, and applying them to covering the exterior walls of architecture to separate the sun rays and reflect it away, this shall reduce the temperature inside the building, giving a beauty externally, to makes the building brightens as jewelry , with a design has the modern's culture and thinking, and the originality of the ancient Egyptian art, then making many of facades that have the modern Egyptian features from the research. en_US
